Peter Lownds represents a doctor found not guilty of assaulting a young patient
A consultant anaesthetist while trying to sedate a child before surgery was alleged to have physically assaulted the child while trying to put a mask providing air and anaesthetic on to the child’s face.
After a two-day trial at Teesside Magistrates Court, during which the court heard from multiple eyewitnesses, the District Judge found the doctor not guilty.
Peter was instructed by Adam Weston of Clyde & Co.
