Amadu Djalo, who turned 18 during the course of his trial, was charged with four others with two counts of attempted murder after a stabbing in a Peterborough Park. CCTV showed the group arriving in the area by taxi, purchasing kitchen knives in a local shop and walking to the park where two men were stabbed a total of 13 times. The group then left the area. Three of his co-defendants were convicted of attempted murder and possession of knives. Amadu Djalo was acquitted of both attempted murder and possession of a knife and convicted of wounding with intent.
