The public inquiry into the death of Jermaine Baker begins today at the International Dispute Resolution Centre on Fleet Street.
Jermaine Baker was shot by a Metropolitan Police officer on 11 December 2015 during a police operation relating to an attempt by Mr Baker and others to free a prisoner en route to Wood Green Crown Court.
The Inquiry Chairman is HH Clement Goldstone QC. Kate Blackwell QC acts as Counsel to the Inquiry, leading Nikita McNeill. Kate and Nikita are instructed by Abigail Scholefield at FieldFisher.
The Inquiry Hearings will be live-streamed whilst the coronavirus restrictions remain in place.
