Nneka represented the first of three defendants charged with the rape and sexual assault of a woman in broad daylight, who they had met 30 minutes earlier. An unusual feature of the case was that the entire incident had been filmed by a concerned member of the public from his flat which overlooked the scene. The issue was consent.
