An Independent Regulatory Commission has ordered Millwall FC to implement an action plan and fined the club £10,000 for breaching FA Rules E20 and E21.
The FA investigated allegations of discriminatory behaviour and chanting during the Millwall FC’s Emirates FA Cup fixture against Everton FC on 26 January 2019, after becoming aware of a video posted on social media showing supporters engaged in racist chanting.
Millwall FC maintained that the club had used all due diligence to prevent such chanting taking place; The FA contended that the club’s efforts fell short. Having heard evidence and submissions over the course of two days, The Commission agreed with The FA.
