David Whittaker, Craig Ferguson and Christopher Gillespie were in Liverpool this week conducting a Health & Safety Mock trial with Pinsent Masons LLP.
The event was delivered to the Construction Health and Safety Initiative (“CHSI”) safety group on 15th September 2016 at St George’s Hall, Liverpool.
CHSi is involved in the Working Well Together (“WWT”) campaign, a construction industry initiative put in place to improve health and safety in the construction industry, particularly in the small and micro businesses.
Over 120 delegates from construction firms, contractors and the HSE attended to watch and participate in the trial. The trial scenario, devised by Gareth McManus, Zoe Betts and Emma Evans of Pinsent Masons, concerned contraventions of the new Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
