After 7 years of investigation the long awaited corruption and bribery trial of the Ex-Premier and Cabinet Members of the British overseas territory, The Turks and Caicos Islands starts in Providenciales before Mr Justice Harrison.

Quinn Hawkins appears as first junior counsel to the Crown in a team of four barristers led by Andrew Mitchell QC. The bribery, corruption and fraud trial concerns the alleged abuse of power by the Premier and Cabinet members of the Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands between 2005 and 2009 and involves the alleged receipt of many millions of dollars in bribes and huge losses to a small country in excess 70 million dollars.
