Alison Levitt QC Appointed Circuit Judge

Chambers is delighted to announce that Alison Levitt QC has been appointed a Circuit Judge.  She will take up sitting on the South Eastern Circuit, based at Snaresbrook Crown Court with effect from the 4^th October 2021 and will be known as Her Honour Judge Levitt QC.

Alison was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1988 and took Silk in 2008.  Her departure will be a great loss, from her re-joining chambers just a few years ago she has been an absolute force for good and has become a friend and mentor to many.  She will be missed by us all at 2 Hare Court and we wish her all the best in this new venture.
