Sallie Bennett-Jenkins KC represented Micheal Ward, the well-known BAFTA winning actor, at Snaresbrook Crown Court. Mr Ward had asserted his innocence in respect of the allegations from the outset.
Following a trial, he was unanimously acquitted of two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault.
