Neelam has a growing practice in this area. Her recent and current instructions include:

Inquest into the death of PC (2023): Instructed on behalf of a nurse in a 7-day Article 2 inquest.

Inquest into the death of O (2022): Instructed on behalf of the registered provider of a care home where the deceased had suffered a head injury. The incident attracted substantial media attention.

Inquest into the death of C (2021): Instructed on behalf of a newly qualified GP who had been heavily criticised by the deceased’s family before the inquest. The coroner made no criticism of the GP and remarked that the care she provided was entirely appropriate considering the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Grenfell Tower Inquiry (2020): Instructed as second junior counsel on behalf of a core participant.
