R v C, Wood Green Crown Court (ongoing)
S18 wounding arising out of a stabbing in East London in which the defendant is challenging identification.
R v M, Winchester Crown Court (2023)
Conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs involving the supply of multiple kilograms of high-purity of cocaine and cannabis. Led junior.
R v C, Woolwich Crown Court (2023)
Assault by penetration and sexual assault of a child under 13.
R v H (2022)
Mr H, the deputy headteacher of a school for children with autism and special educational needs, was accused of lifting a student into the air before throwing him to the ground. The incident was witnessed by another teacher and captured partly on CCTV. Mr H asserted that he pushed the student once in self-defence when the student was in an “emotionally dysregulated” and unpredictable state. He was acquitted following a successful submission of no case to answer at the close of the Crown’s case.
R v M & Others, Southwark Crown Court (2021)
Multi-handed conspiracy to defraud and immigration offences centred around a sham Bollywood film production company. The trial lasted 16 weeks and involved a high volume of documentary and banking evidence. Led junior.
