Emily Stone joined 2 Hare Court as a Pupil in September 2025.
Before coming to the Bar, Emily served as a Commissioned Officer in the British Army and later as a Human Intelligence Officer in a tri-service intelligence unit, working extensively with sensitive material on special operations.
She went on to work for the Centre for Military Justice, assisting Armed Forces personnel and veterans, with a focus on workplace discrimination and compensation claims arising from sexual assault.
Emily’s main interests are in complex fraud, serious criminal allegations, and matters at the interface of criminal and public law. She continues to volunteer with ALIVE! Nationwide, providing pro bono legal support to victims of domestic abuse, and is committed to meticulous, client-focused advocacy and improving access to justice.
