Redmond Traynor represented one of four defendants at Wood Green Crown Court charged with conspiracy to kidnap and blackmail.
The prosecution case alleged a plan to kidnap and blackmail a young woman in order to secure the return of drug money.
After a three-week trial, the jury returned verdicts of not guilty in respect of both counts.
