The case concerned a double killing and the attempted murder of a third man. The events took place following an incident at The Crown Pub in Houghton Regis in the early hours of Sunday 13 November last year. MG, one of three defendants, faced two counts of attempted murder, and yesterday the Recorder of Luton, HHJ Michael Simon stopped the proceedings at the close of the prosecution case and Zubair’s client was found not guilty of all charges.
