This years’ Regulatory Crime Seminar includes talks on the law surrounding indictments in a criminal regulatory prosecution, the implications of the case of R (on the application of Officer B50) v. HM Coroner for the East Riding of Yorkshire and Kingston-Upon-Hull [2023] EWHC 81 (Admin) in the context of the conclusion of unlawful killing, the use of Independent Investigations and Reviews to satisfy stakeholder pressure and lastly, we will examine the duties owed by employers under the Equality Act 2010 and the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
