2 Hare Court is delighted to have again received record rankings in this years’ Chambers & Partners UK Guide. Chambers now has 45 out of 68 members ranked as leaders’ in their field, with 66 rankings overall.

Special congratulations are in order for Sallie Bennett-Jenkins QC who has this year been entered as a Star Individual for Crime, Jonathan Laidlaw QC who continues with Star Silk status for both Crime and Financial Crime, and Orlando Pownall QC as Star Silk for Crime. Stephen Brassington continues his status as a Star Individual in Professional Discipline, Christopher Coltart QC, Angus Bunyan and Lewis MacDonald have all been given Spotlight status for Financial Crime:Private Prosecutions and Fiona Robertson and Merry van Woodenberg have both entered ranked positions in Crime. Christopher Gillespie and Vivienne Tanchel have both been added to the Professional Discipline category and Tom Day has also now been recognised in the Health & Safety category. A further 34 existing members continue to rank highly in their chosen fields.

We would also like to congratulate Marios Lambis and Gavin Irwin who have been shortlisted for Professional Discipline Junior of the Year and Crime Junior of the Year in the Chambers UK Bar Awards 2021.
