Following an extensive surveillance operation, conducted over a three-month period during 2018, police seized substantial volumes of cocaine from a vehicle and a flat being used as a base to distribute drugs. The Crown’s case against Peter’s client, HD, relied upon observations, CCT, telephone and fingerprint evidence linking him with the flat and showing him meeting with others alleged to be involved in dealing cocaine. After a three-week trial at Southwark Crown Court HD was acquitted following Peter making a successful “no case to answer” submission at the end of the prosecution case.
Peter was instructed by Steven Bird of Birds Solicitors.
