Michael Rawlinson has represented a serving North Yorkshire Police Sergeant acquitted following a jury trial. The officer faced trial at York Crown Court for allegedly sexually assaulting another police officer on two separate occasions.
Following a four-day Crown Court trial, involving the extensive cross-examination of serving police officer witnesses, the jury took just 30 minutes to unanimously return not guilty verdicts in respect of the officer with respect both counts upon the indictment.
Michael is a member of the Professional Discipline Team, and regularly defends and represents doctors, police officers of all ranks and other professionals across the country in misconduct, judicial review, criminal and inquest proceedings.
