Nneka Akudolu has secured the conviction of an accountant and former maths tutor for serious sexual assaults against two of his former students spanning a period of 23 years.

The defendant had been tried and acquitted for offences of indecent assault against one of his 7 year old students in 1996.

During the present trial the jury heard evidence from that complainant (now aged 31) after the prosecution successfully applied for its admission as bad character evidence.

Nneka was instructed by Ciaran Cronin of the CPS RASSO unit.
