Chambers Welcomes New Tenants

Chambers is delighted to announce that Merry van Woodenberg, formerly of Foundry Chambers, has accepted an invitation to join 2 Hare Court.

Merry is the fourth tenant to join Chambers in the last few months, the others being Alison Levitt QC, Nneka Akudolu and Hannah Thomas.

This of course comes on top of the elevation of Narita Bahra, Zubair Ahmad and David Whittaker to the rank of Queen’s Counsel, bringing the number of Silks in Chambers to 20.

However, their richly deserved success plus the equally merited appointment of Andrew Hurst to the Circuit Bench has deprived Chambers of 4 senior juniors, so if you think that you have what it takes to succeed in one of the leading sets in the country specialising in Business Crime & Financial Services, Crime, Inquests & Inquiries, Professional Discipline, Regulatory Crime, Sports Law and Tax please apply in strictest confidence to Sallie Bennett-Jenkins QC.
