David Whittaker Successfully Defends Partner of TOWIE Star in Drug Prosecution
Daniel Harris was charged with large-scale drug dealing, both cocaine and heroin, following his arrest in March 2016. He was alleged to be the ringleader of a large-scale drug operation that was making weekly profits in the hundreds of thousands of pounds. The gang used encrypted phones to communicate with one another and delivery was effected by mopeds with boards designed to give the appearance of the riders training for the black cab “knowledge”. Acquitted of both counts of drug supply following a 3-week trial, Harris was convicted of being in possession of £108,000 in Scottish notes which he had collected for transportation to a lawyer in Spain following his father’s arrest there.
David was instructed by Peter Hughman of Hughmans Solicitors.
