Iraj Parvizi, a well known London trader was acquitted of insider dealing at Southwark Crown Court after a trial lasting three months.
It was alleged that Mr Parvizi had conspired with an employee of Deutsche bank who provided price sensitive information through an intermediary. The prosecution was brought by the FCA after an investigation lasting some 5 years.
