In a ceremony at Westminster Hall today, Bobbie Cheema QC received her Letters Patent from HM The Queen, delivered via the Lord Chancellor, officially marking her appointment as Queen's Counsel.
Chambers warmly congratulates Bobbie on her appointment.
Bobbie is an extremely well-respected and experienced criminal practitioner, and in 2011 was appointed Senior Treasury Counsel (only the third woman to be appointed to that role) since when she has been the only junior regularly prosecuting, as leading counsel, major murder, terrorism and organised crime trials heard at the Central Criminal Court. She also sits as a Deputy High Court Judge.
