Hanne was invited to become a tenant in April 2005. Since becoming a member of chambers, Hanne has been instructed both alone and as a junior in a wide range of serious criminal matters including perverting the course of justice, grievous bodily harm, armed robbery, fraud and murder.

She prosecutes and defends acting for a variety of defence solicitors as well as for the Crown Prosecution Service, HM Revenue Customs and Excise and the Probation Service. She has also appeared before the Court Martial.

Hanne’s other legal experience includes a 3 month internship with a human rights group in Jamaica who represent death row inmates, 4 months as a researcher in Privy Council appellate work for the City firm, Simmons Muirhead & Burton, and 6 months court clerking for a criminal defence solicitors.
