A leading junior who acts almost exclusively for the defence.

Areas of specialisation include: Crime, serious fraud, corporate and financial crime as well as professional discipline (principally in cases before the General Medical Council). In the last year he has undertaken a considerable amount of pre-charge advisory work in SFO investigations. His practice of representing corporate clients in their claims before HMRC VAT tribunals continues to expand.

Regularly instructed in very complex and high profile cases. Frequently the first choice of solicitors acting for privately funded clients and those representing other members of the legal profession who are accused of crimes. This year he has represented solicitors charged with perverting the course of justice and supplying drugs to clients in police custody.
