Newly appointed as Queen’s Counsel in March 2008 he continues to enjoy an impressive caseload of high quality. Cited in Legal 500 as having "a phenomenal court presence" he is recognised as one of the youngest Queen's Counsel practising in Criminal Law.

As is revealed by his case 'list' he, even as a junior, enjoyed high profile work in both a defence and prosecution capacity. Unusually his practice is spread both between serious crime and 'white collar' fraud.

His recent successes include representing one of the jockeys tried at The Central Criminal Court in relation to allegations of horse race 'fixing'. Further he has recently secured success in his first appearance as Queen's Counsel representing one of a number of defendants in multi-handed fraud case at Southwark.
