Coroners' Inquests and Public Inquiries
Chambers provides specialist advice and representation in a wide range of public inquiry and inquest work.
As an example we were instructed by the Treasury Solicitor in the Bloody Sunday Inquiry on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.
We also provide representation in Coroner's Courts inquiring into civilian deaths, and can act on behalf of families, medical practitioners, professionals and individuals, hospitals and nursing homes, corporate bodies and companies, local authorities, prisons, police forces, and others who qualify as "interested parties". In addition we can advise on related applications in the High Court.
We also appear in Courts Martial held in this country and other jurisdictions.
