Peter Blair - Chambers Director

Peter joined 2 Hare Court in 2012 and is responsible for the overall management of Chambers. He works with the Head of Chambers, the Management Committee and members to develop and implement Chambers strategy and business plans and has overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of Chambers' business.

Peter was the Deputy Chief Executive at Middle Temple, and Chief Operating Officer at Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP before spending a numbers of years consulting to law firms, chambers, and other professional services organisations. He has an MBA from London Business School and a BSc in Information Systems and Management from Birkbeck College, University of London. Peter is also a full member of the Chartered Management Institute and the LPMA.

Nathan Lee-Walsh - Senior Clerk

Nathan joined Chambers in 1996 and was appointed Senior Clerk in 2008. He is responsible for the day to day supervision of the clerks' room and the management of our barristers' criminal work. He will be pleased to advise and assist with identifying suitable Silks and senior barristers, and handles all related fee negotiations and enquiries. He is also available to assist with any concerns or complaints you may have.

Maurice MacSweeney - Director of Business Development

Maurice oversees the development of our non-criminal practice areas, and manages associated key client relationships. He also advises on enquiries from in-house counsel and direct/licensed access clients.  Maurice is responsible for our marketing and client event programmes.

He joined Chambers in 2009 from a global recruitment company, where he sourced associates and partners for City and international firms.  Prior to that he worked for a specialist fraud firm.  He graduated in Law from the University of Cambridge.
