Following pupillages at Three Raymond Buildings and 2 Hare Court, Eleanor became a member of chambers in October 2011.

She is regularly instructed to advise and represent those facing proceedings in the Magistrates', Youth and Crown Courts. She has experience of criminal, regulatory and licensing law and practice, and also represents those facing extradition.

Eleanor also prosecutes, and has been instructed by bodies such as the National Probation Service and the Department of Work and Pensions.

Whilst studying on the BVC, Eleanor volunteered with the Howard League for Penal Reform, working in their legal team which provides advice to young people in custody. She also contributed to projects with the London Innocence Project.

Eleanor is an adept public speaker, who has been selected to compete in moots, debates and other public speaking competitions. She won the Varsity moot against Oxford University in 2008 and the Lincoln's Inn Crowther Shield in 2009, and took second place in the Lincoln's Inn Gluckstein Advocacy Competition.
