Naeem Mian QC represents man charged with encouraging acts of terrorism against Royal Family

Naeem Mian QC is representing Mr Husnain Rashid, charged with six terrorism offences including; preparing to carry out offences of terrorism in Syria, assisting others to commit acts of terrorism and encouraging others to commit acts of terrorism on the UK mainland.

Rashid is accused of calling for Prince George to be targeted at Thomas’s Battersea primary school in south-west London.

He is accused of posting a photograph of the four-year-old prince, along with his school’s address, a silhouette of a jihad fighter and the message: “Even the royal family will not be left alone.”

He also allegedly advised a British terrorist in Syria named Omar Ali Hussain on how to make successful attacks, including bringing down “enemy” aircraft with lasers.

Naeem is leading Adrian Palmer and is instructed by Atif Nawaz of Abbey Solicitors.
