Sallie Bennett-Jenkins QC secures non custodial sentence for indecent images

Sallie Bennett-Jenkins QC recently represented AP at the Central Criminal Court. AP was charged with possession of numerous Category A indecent images of children. His Honour Judge Dennis QC was persuaded to pass a non custodial sentence in the matter. He commented that he had been greatly assisted by the ‘meticulous preparation’ of the material placed in front of him that lead him to be able to suspend the sentence of imprisonment.

The defendant had been arrested as part of pro active intelligence operation, and was arrested at Gatwick Airport.

Sallie was instructed by Grant Ambridge of the Murrays Partnership.
