2 Hare Court ranked top 5 for quasi-criminal Barrister rankings in the Legal 500 2015

Chambers is delighted with an increase of over 30% in ranked members from the Legal 500 2014.

New entries include juniors Christopher Gillespie, Craig Ferguson and James Buchanan, who join leading silk Jonathan Laidlaw QC, ranking in the Health & Safety practice area. As well as leading silk Christopher Coltart QC and junior Vivienne Tanchel being ranked for the first time under Business Crime and Regulatory. The Professional Discipline group have increased their set ranking to Tier 2 and Stephen Brassington is now ranked as a Tier 1 Leading Junior, with additional leading juniors Andrew Colman, Marios Lambis, Vivienne Tanchel and Craig Ferguson.

Chambers has improved on its already strong ranking in both Crime and Criminal Fraud maintaining Tier 2 set rankings and with additions to Crime for both leading silk Brendan Kelly QC, who joins an already 4 strong ranked QC team, and new leading juniors, Scott Ivill, and Angus Bunyan. Fraud: crime maintained 5 silks and increased its leading juniors with Vivienne Tanchel, Christopher Gillespie, David Whittaker, Peter Lownds and Harry Bentley increasing the number of ranked juniors to 7.

Julian Campbell (Director of Clerking) and Ben Heaviside (Senior Practice Clerk) are praised for their commitment to client care along with the clerking team as a whole being described as ‘admirable’ and ‘attentive’.
